About us

History

AES was established in 2004 by Erwin Erasmus and Danie van Wyk joined shortly afterwards. Between the two of them they have more than 58 combined years in Aviation both starting off at Atlas. Mastering their skills set in General Aviation, Avionic & Electrical field.

Licenses

We are SACAA (South African Civil Aviation) Approved at our facility at Lanseria Airport & at Cape Town International airport. Between our 16 engineers we carry the following licenses:

W & X
Avionics
Instruments
Ignition Equipment
Radios
Auto Pilot
Compass systems (pulse & non pulse)

Training

We are a TETA approved workplace training facility in the following criteria:

Danie van Wyk is a qualified assessor/moderator & trade test officer: SACAA approved Instructor Grade 1

Flexibility

We travel to any premises for Aircraft defects & installs no matter what the requirements or geographical area – local or international. We offer engineers after hours, over weekends & holidays.
